Jetstar Japan started operations in July 2012 and has now grown into one of the largest LCCs in Japan. In the fiscal year ended June 2016, the service was used by 5.2 million customers annually, achieving profitability for the single year. Going forward, we will continue to use our extensive domestic route network as a foundation to further expand our international routes by considering the launch of flights to mainland China and other overseas cities where demand for visiting Japan is expected.
