About Us..
Eurowings is the Lufthansa Group’s low-cost airline and, as such, part of the world’s largest aviation group. Eurowings has a current fleet of 139 aircraft and specialises in low-cost direct flights within Europe. The German airline currently offers more than 100 destinations in over 50 countries, making it the third-largest European point-to-point carrier. In 2018 for the first time, the airline flew more than 40 million passengers and its workforce grew to around 3,500 employees. The low-cost airline has 13 locations in Germany as well as in other European countries and is the market leader at six airports.
Customers can choose between the BASIC, SMART and BIZclass booking fares at Eurowings to customise their flight. This means both business and private travellers can always find the right package to suit them.
Triple victory for Eurowings
Eurowings has been named triple winner of the “German Customer Award 2021/22” by the German Association for Consumer Studies (DtGV). In this Germany-wide consumer ranking, Eurowings took undisputed first place in the discount airline sector in the categories “customer satisfaction”, “customer service” and “value for money”. The online customer survey included around 335,000 assessments of a total of 2,377 companies from 236 sectors.
Named the best airline in Germany in 2017, we not only offer the largest and most attractive route network from Germany to Europe, but also the largest seat pitch among all airlines in European traffic.
The airline currently offers a total of more than 100 destinations in over 50 countries worldwide. Whether it’s a business trip, city break or beach holiday – Eurowings has the right flight for every occasion.
As “the home carrier” in North Rhine-Westphalia, Eurowings will be able to offer a significantly larger and more attractive route network than before – especially in Düsseldorf, where Eurowings is the market leader.
