In 1996, Clive Beddoe and a team of like-minded partners started WestJet with 3 aircraft, 5 destinations and 220 friendly WestJetters. Today we operate 5 different aircraft types and fly to more than 100 destinations in North America, Central America, The Caribbean and Europe. Our 14,000 WestJetters are dedicated to flying more than 22 million guests a year, on over 700 flights per day, with a fleet of over 150 aircraft.

Beyond the aircraft
Before ever leaving the runway, thousands of hours of preparation, training and care go into every WestJet flight. Beyond the aircraft provides a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible measures our WestJetters take to ensure the comfort and safety of each and every guest.
Is WestJet hiring?
We are actively hiring for many of our front line positions and Corporate roles. The airline industry continues to be one of the most affected industries, and continues to stabilize through the employment of many new team members to support the resurgence in travel. We do still have active recall lists that need to be reviewed and considered as part of our hiring practices.
We continue to offer a virtual hiring experience as our primary means of connecting and engaging with our candidates through the leveraging video technology throughout the hiring process. In some situations for identified roles, in-person interviews may take place as required.
