We weren’t just airborne yesterday—time flies when you’re having fun!
More than 50 years ago, Rollin King and Herb Kelleher got together and decided to start a different kind of airline. They began with one simple notion: if you get your Passengers to their destinations when they want to get there, on time, at the lowest possible fares, and make darn sure they have a good time doing it, People will fly your airline. And you know what? They were right.
Leaping to the latest in-seat power
Whether you’re keeping the kids entertained or working to complete an important presentation, you could use more power. That is why we plan to bring the convenience of in-seat power onboard aircraft beginning in 2023. Once installed, these aircraft will feature:
- USB-A and USB-C ports: This means plenty of power to charge your onboard electronics, including phones, tablets, and laptops.
- Ports on each seat back: Ports will be placed in each seat back so you and your neighbor can charge your devices without waiting your turn for a charger.
- Zone-based power system: This space-saving system does not compromise legroom.
