All roles that are identified as safety sensitive are required to pass a Pre-Employment Alcohol and Drug Test as per Swoop’s Alcohol & Drug Policy. Swoop has suspended its Covid-19 Vaccination Policy to align with the federal government’s suspension of vaccine requirements for federally regulated employees. This relaxation of vaccination requirements is a suspension not a dissolution. Should the federal government reinstate a vaccine requirement based on the latest public health advice and science, so too will the WestJet Group.

The Advisor, Training Delivery is responsible to meet the Transport Canada regulatory requirements to maintain the Swoop Operating Certificate (AOC) as it relates to Flight Attendant training, Flight Attendant qualifications, and training equipment (cabin trainers, etc.), of Swoop Flight Attendants and instructors.
